Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WildTribe ("WildTribe," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit wildtribe.app, create or use an account, connect a YouTube channel, purchase a subscription, contact us, or use WildTribe to turn videos into transcripts, visual stories, infographics, and published web pages.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide, information generated through your use of WildTribe, and limited information received from services you choose to connect.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

YouTube and Google Data

WildTribe uses YouTube API Services. Public YouTube API data may be used to discover channels and display channel or video information inside WildTribe. When you select Connect YouTube, Google OAuth asks you to authorize the permissions shown on Google's consent screen. WildTribe uses authorized data to identify the connected channel and to carry out YouTube actions that you expressly initiate, including posting the exact comment and destination you confirm.

WildTribe does not request or store your Google or YouTube password. OAuth tokens are stored so the connection can continue until you disconnect it or revoke access. Selecting Disconnect YouTube in WildTribe requests revocation from Google and removes the locally stored access and refresh tokens. You may also revoke WildTribe through your Google account permissions.

After disconnection, local operational records such as comment text, destination URLs, thread IDs, and timestamps may remain until they are deleted under our normal retention process or you request deletion. YouTube API data may be refreshed, corrected, or deleted as needed to keep it current and comply with YouTube's data-retention requirements.

Your use of features that access YouTube is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

AI, Transcript, and Production Providers

WildTribe sends only the information reasonably needed to complete a requested workflow. For example, a video URL, language choice, and related metadata may be sent to Supadata to retrieve a transcript. Transcripts, prompts, story drafts, visual instructions, reference materials, and other production inputs may be sent to OpenAI to generate or analyze text and images. Provider processing and retention are governed by the applicable provider terms, privacy policies, account settings, and service configuration.

You should not submit confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive personal information in transcripts, prompts, contact messages, or custom instructions unless it is necessary and you have authority to do so.

Other Service Providers and Disclosures

We may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate WildTribe, including:

WildTribe does not sell personal information and does not use Google user data for advertising. We do not currently allow third-party behavioral advertising on the service.

Cookies and Sessions

WildTribe uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in, protect forms, and maintain secure application state. We do not currently use advertising cookies. Your browser can block cookies, but doing so may prevent login and other core features from working.

Published Content

Pages that you choose to build or publish may be publicly accessible, shared on social networks, linked from YouTube, and indexed by search engines. Public pages may contain creator names, video links, transcripts or excerpts, generated text, and visual assets. Review each page before publication and do not publish personal information that should remain private.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide WildTribe, maintain requested content and records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention depends on the type of information:

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, including access controls, password hashing, OAuth-based authorization, encrypted network transport where supported, and private storage for service credentials. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.

Your Choices and Rights

You may update information through available account or dashboard controls, disconnect YouTube in Settings, revoke Google access through your Google account, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and the right to receive a portable copy of certain information.

To make a privacy request, use the WildTribe contact form. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required by law or where an applicable exception permits retention.

International Processing

WildTribe and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international processing.

Children's Privacy

WildTribe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as WildTribe changes. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change materially affects how we use authorized Google user data.
